    Summary

  • The archive contains the monitored values of air pressure, heights of geopotential surface, air temperature, dew point deficit, and wind direction and speed at the ground level and at standard isobaric surfaces; level of tropopause; levels of specific points on air temperature and humidity, wind speed; level of maximal wind and wind rotation level, as well as data about cloudiness during radio sounding. The Finnish VAISALA DigiCora III MW31 system and RS-92-SGP sounds have been used for soundings. During the periods of special observations in the frame of the Year of Polar Prediction (February - March, July - September 2018), additional soundings had been executed at 12 UTC with support of National Institute of Polar Research of Japan (NIPR). This data set is a summary of YoPP-SOP1 and SOP2 data.
