The depth of the snow cover (mainly on land). The redder the deeper.
The extent of sea ice. The whiter the color, the larger the area covered by ice.
Sea surface temperature. Purple to blue is low, yellow to red is high.
This is the Earth's condition as seen from earth observation satellite SHIZUKU by JAXA.
It shows the extent of sea ice around the Arctic and Antarctic regions, the depth of snow cover on land, and the temperature of the sea surface in the ocean.
