[purpose] Investigations on large-scale oceanic circulation in the Arctic Ocean and its connection to global climate. Freshwater budget of the Arctic Ocean. [outline] Hydrographic section across the Canada Basin is planed aboard heavy ice breaker CCGS Louis S. St-Laurent. On the transit to Halifax to Arctic Ocean, sustained XCTD section is also planned across the Baffin Bay.
