ID-133 :   Greenhouse gas observations at Ny-Alesund, Svalbard

Type

FIELDWORK

Research/Observation Title

Greenhouse gas observations at Ny-Alesund, Svalbard

Science Summary (common)

To figure out temporal variations of the greenhouse gases concentration and their isotope ratio in the Arctic region, air samples are collected at Ny-Alesund. The air samples are analyzed for concentrations of CO2, CH4, N2O, SF6 and O2 and isotope ratios of CO2, CH4 and N2O in NIPR and Tohoku University, Japan.
