Research/Observation Methods

(1) Bottom-tethered sediment trap mooring Station NAP13t --- subsurface pCO2 and pH (cooperated by Dr. Anders Tengberg/AADI) at ~170 m depth, settling particles including calcareous plankton shells obtained at ~190 and ~1330 m depth, fluorescence and turbidity at ~25 m depth (contact to J. Onodera & N. Harada), CTD, ADCP, sonar ice profile (contact to M.Itoh & T.Kikuchi) (2) shell-bearing microzooplankton assemblages such as foraminifer and pteropods (contact to K. Kimoto & N. Harada)

Research/Observation Period
